RUBEN MÜLLER
Ruben Müller (b. 1990, Mönchengladbach, Germany) received his MFA from the University of Fine Arts Dresden in 2019.
In Müller’s paintings, the everyday becomes a charged field of attention. He seeks subtle warmth and latent significance withinthe quiet rhythms of ordinary life, dwelling on moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Figures inhabit suspended intervalsmarked by stillness and introspection, suggesting quiet forms of relational tension. Through subdued tonalities and carefullycomposed scenes, the works unfold with restrained theatricality, rendering the ordinary as a site of heightened perception.A reflective nostalgia emerges—not as a return to the past, but as a reconsideration of presence and coexistence, where livedexperience appears both shared and singular, unfolding across intimate yet collective temporalities.
